Lakewood Ranch Community Fund of Manatee Community Foundation
Lakewood Ranch Community Fund of Manatee Community Foundation recently awarded a grant of $1,080 to JoshProvides Epilepsy Assistance Foundation in support of the organization’s monthly Epilepsy Support Group held at the State College of Florida, Lakewood Ranch Campus.
“Epilepsy is a neurological disorder that impacts 1 in 26 people and causes social isolation for the loved one and his/her family. Our monthly Epilepsy Support Group offers a lifeline to families who are dealing with epilepsy and other seizure disorders. This grant from the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund of Manatee Community Foundation allows JoshProvides to help families combat the social isolation, receive information about treatment options and learn about local resources.”
