Traci grew up in California where she earned her BS Degree in Psychology and Human Development at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo. While attending school, Traci was a nationally ranked competitive swimmer and participated in the Big Brother-Big Sister organization.
Traci’s professional experience is varied. In Newport Beach, CA, she owned and operated a successful children’s swim program, which was responsible for hundreds of children learning to swim.
Traci spent 11 years in the Pharmaceutical-Biotech industry where she held positions in Sales and Sales Training. Her areas of responsibility spanned working with products for infectious diseases, organ transplantation, and pediatric/premature infant diseases. She collaborated with physicians and other health care providers on research projects, educational symposiums, and patient advocacy.
For 3 years, Traci sat on the board of the Helen Day Art Center, a non-profit community art center dedicated to bringing the arts to the New England area and beyond.
Traci is a founding member of the TLC Community Fund Giving Circle, which provides grants for selected causes.
Currently, Traci holds the position of Director, Philanthropic Partnerships at AltMed, LLC. Traci works with select foundations to help provide awareness, funding, education, and research for approved medical areas that could benefit from high quality, tested medical cannabis.
Above all, Traci is the stepmother of 4 children, and along with her husband, Michael, moved to Sarasota in 2010. Traci’s youngest stepdaughter, Kayla, suffered from the effects of Epilepsy over many years, and has provided the inspiration and passion for her current work as well as her commitment to the Josh Provides Epilepsy Assistance Foundation.
